FIRST YEARS
Arizona

My desire for dance began as a young girl at the age of 4. I was inspired by my unending need for expression and movement.

2003
Arizona

With this passion, I endured my dance studies and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in both Dance and Choreography in 2003.

2004
New York
UP TO NEW YORK

I then moved to the capital of Broadway Shows in New York City and began my exciting career in dance. In 2004, I received my Pilates certification in both mat work and equipment from The Kane School of Core Integration in Manhattan. My love to teach and my desire to inspire students brought me to the ultra-sophisticated Sports Club LA in the Rockefeller Center and modern dance at Dance New Amsterdam, both in New York City.

SAN FRANCISCO

In 2007, I moved to San Francisco where I trained with Mercy Sibury. Here I learned the art of somatic work and ideokinesis, both body-mind teaching techniques; perfectly adapted for those with injuries or changing unhealthy moment patterns. My teaching continued at the Sports Club LA is San Francisco, San Francisco Arts Education and the Oberlin Dance Collective teaching both adults and children. During this time I also traveled internationally to teach and perform. Furthering my wellness education in 2010, I received a certification in Gyrotonics with Debra Rose at San Francisco Gyrotonics and started teaching independently.

MODENA, ITALY

In 2015, I relocated to Modena, Italy bringing my love of movement. I worked aside many great artists at Drama Teatro to create new works and am currently teaching contemporary dance, floor work, dance for children and Pilates at La Capriola. I have created this online program to stay connected to the United States and have the ability to connect these two fantastic places that I have lived. .
